6 Female Celebrities Accused of Being 'Too Thin'

Whether too heavy or too thin, it seems most female celebrities have been body-shamed at one point or another and pretty much live Britney Spears's "Piece of Me" lyrics: "I'm Mrs. she's too big, now she's too thin." And though one would think that in a world where plus-size bodies are constantly torn down that being slim wouldn't be a problem, thin bodies are also being scrutinized -- especially if they aren't curvaceous in the "right" spots. Yep, even in a world where stars are under constant pressure to get and remain thin, plenty of famous women have been accused of going too low. Seems impossible, right? Well, for some stars the scrutiny never stops. To get more news about 亚洲精品在线, you can visit our official website.

We all know that beauty standards for women are harsh. Most of us have faced the scale hearing the ridicule and scorn of others in our heads if we hit a certain weight. Usually the pressure on women is to be thinner, and that is certainly true in Hollywood. But what if the opposite is true? It may seem odd, but for some Hollywood women the criticism about their weight is about them being too thin -- not too heavy. SMH, there just seems to be no way that women can win: Whether fat or thin, our bodies seem to be something that other people feel like they can police and comment on freely.

After she was accused of promoting anorexia with her appearance this spring, Modern Family's Sarah Hyland explained that her weight loss was due to issues that prevented her from working out:

"Maybe one day I'll talk about it but for now, I'd like my privacy. I will say that this year has brought a lot of changes and with that, physical changes. I have been told that I can't work out. Which, for me, is very upsetting."

"They said that I was too skinny, and my boobs were too small. ... After they asked me here, in Israel, if I have eating disorders and why am I so skinny -- they said my head was too big and my body was like a broomstick -- I can take anything. It's just empty talk. I understand that part of what I'm doing means being exposed. And part of being exposed is being under fire."

Ariana Grande worried fans when she debuted an especially petite frame at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, with concerned commenters wondering why she looked "so freaking thin." (Grande said it was because she gave up junk food.)

Zendaya wasn't having it when comic actress Julie Klausner called her a "thinspo model for your impressionable tweens" and accused her of "starving herself down to the size of one of her elbowz" after the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards. "Do you find this funny?" she asked Twitter about Klausner's insults, adding in a subsequent tweet:

Jessica Simpson can't seem to catch a break! At times criticized for being too heavy, Simpson has also been hassled for losing too much weight, with haters calling her slimmed-down look "awful" and "unhealthy."
