Still, being an undrafted free agent affords the prospects the opportunity to prove they do belong on the football field with the professionals and they’ll get that chance over the coming months. With the release of the offseason schedule, Dallas will get to work with their rookies next week and this group will do what they can to impress. The haul is highlighted by several defenders who most outlets ha draftable grades on. Oregon’s Austin Faoliu is an interior defender and Texas A&M linebacker Anthony Hines could find a way to claw into a rotation. Purdue safety Tyler Coyle is another who could surprise.

On offense, Dallas picked up a quartet of wide receivers in Texas’ Brennan Eagles, Texas Tech’s TJ Vasher, Iowa’s Brandon Smith and Mississippi State’s Osirus Mitchell. They also inked Michigan tight end Nick Eubanks and TCU’s Artayvious Lynn. Both rooms are crowded, but one never knows.

Don’t forget about the backs and offensive linemen, as those positions are the most permeable. Marshal’s Brendan Knox and Tiffin’s JaQuan Hardy have some excitement to their game while Houston’s Braylon Jones lines up at the least deep position on the OL’s interior at guard.
